Davor lagen noch vierzig Minuten Taxi durch Vancouver. Die Fahrt geht lange zun\u00e4chst am Fraser River, dann am Thomson River nach Norden. Im s\u00fcdlichen Teil waren weite Gebiete \u00fcberschwemmt, Nachwirkungen der Schneeschmelze und den ausgiebigen Regenf\u00e4llen im Norden. Tief hat sich der Fluss in die Landschaft eingeschnitten, reisende Stromschnellen wechselten mit langsamer flie\u00dfenden Abschnitten.<br \/>\nIm Sommer, wenn der Wasserstand gesunken ist, ist dieser Teil ein sehr beliebtes Raftinggebiet, viele Anbieter findet man hier.<br \/>\nKurz vor dem Hell&#8217;s Gate, der engsten Stelle des Flusses findet man ein kleines Bistro, das ganz Elvis Presley gewidmet ist. Bilder von ihm und seinen Auftritten zieren die W\u00e4nde, ein Muss f\u00fcr alle Elvis Fans.<br \/>\nDann Hell&#8217;s Gate, bei diesem Wasserstand wirklich die H\u00f6lle, wie die Wassermassen durch diese enge Stelle schie\u00dfen. Eine Seilbahn f\u00fchrt dort hinab, so dass man dieses grandiose Schauspiel direkt genie\u00dfen kann.<br \/>\nAn zwei Zwischenstopps hatten wir Gelegenheit unseren leeren Magen ein bisschen zu beruhigen.<br \/>\nGegen 15:00 Uhr kamen wir bei unserem RV an. Das Wetter hatte sich vollkommen ge\u00e4ndert, eisiger Wind und Hagel haben uns hier oben empfangen. Und so beschlossen wir noch eine Nacht im Hotel zu verbringen, bevor wir in den Trailer umziehen wollten. <\/p>\n\t\t<div style=\"clear:both\"><\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"psgal_wrap\">\n\t\t\t<div
