So habe ich denn das gemacht, was ich schon seit geraumer Zeit ins Auge gefasst hatte, ein Tour in den Wells Gray Nationalpark, ca. 130km nord\u00f6stlich der Ranch.<br \/>\nIm letzten Jahr war ich zwar schon zweimal da, einmal im Winter und einmal im September, aber der Park ist so gro\u00df, dass man immer wieder Neues findet.<br \/>\nMein wichtigstes Ziel war &#8222;Bailey&#8217;s Chute&#8220;, recht lange Stromschnellen, an denen die Lachse jetzt springen sollten, sagte der Ranger in der Touristeninformation. Gesehen habe ich zwar welche im Fluss, aber nicht auf den Stromschnellen, da war einfach zuviel Wasser im Fluss und die Lachse h\u00e4tten zehn-Meter-Spr\u00fcnge hinkiregen m\u00fcssen, wenn sie in dem tosenden Wasser stromauf wollen. Also nix.<br \/>\nAm Anfang habe ich allerdings die Mahat Falls angeschaut, sie sehen aus wie ein verkleinerter Helmcken Fall.<br \/>\nNat\u00fcrlich sind auch bei einem Besuch im Park die beiden wichtigsten Wasserf\u00e4lle Pflicht, die Dawson Falls und der Helmcken Fall. Auch hier war deutlich mehr Wasser im Fluss als bei meinen beiden vorigen Besuchen. Es str\u00f6mte und toste unglaublich. Die Gischt war teils so heftig und dicht, dass sie den Blick auf die Wasserf\u00e4lle fast v\u00f6llig versperrte.<br \/>\nUnd so kam ich zu neuem und ausf\u00fchrlichen Spazier\u00e4ngen. Leider waren immer wieder auch heftige Regenschauern, von denen ich mich allerdings nicht von meinen Besichtigungstouren habe abhalten lassen, man hat ja Regenkleidung.<br \/>\nSchon bei der R\u00fcckfahrt aus dem Park habe ich zum ersten Mal richtig das Schild &#8222;Green Mountain Tower&#8220; gelesen, und da ein Fahrweg hinf\u00fchrte, konnte ich das nat\u00fcrlich nicht auslassen.<br \/>\nNach einigen Kilometern Schotterpiste habe ich den Turm gefunden und einen herrlichen Rundblick genossen.<\/p>\n\t\t<div style=\"clear:both\"><\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"psgal_wrap\">\n\t\t\t<div
