Ein recht schmales, aber langes Schwimmbecken mit sauberem Wasser hat mich gestern Abend noch zu einigen Schwimmrunden eingeladen, anschlie\u00dfend noch im Hottub aufw\u00e4rmen und ich war ein neuer Mensch.<br \/>\nSo haben wir schweren Herzens unseren Bungalow heute Morgen verlassen. Unsere heutige Route f\u00fchrte uns am Columbia River, der sich hier seenartig ausgebreitet hat, nach S\u00fcden und dann weiter bis Vernon, eine Stadt, die wohl nur existiert, weil sie an der Kreuzung zweier Stra\u00dfen liegt. Sie machte auf uns heute Abend einen denkbar langweiligen Eindruck.<br \/>\nFast am Anfang der Fahrt haben wir den Fluss mit einer F\u00e4hre \u00fcberquert. Neben der Stra\u00dfe stiegen die Berge wie auch schon in den letzten Tagen so richtig hoch, teils mit Schnee bedeckt, einfach beeindruckend.<br \/>\nAuf unserer Fahrt kamen wir an einer &#8222;Selbstbedienungs&#8220;-Driving-Ranch vorbei. Von mehreren tees (Abschlagsstellen) konnten die B\u00e4lle geschlagen werden. Einige Eimer gef\u00fcllt mit B\u00e4llen standen bereit, der Preis, stand auf einem Zettel und Schl\u00e4ger daneben an einem Zaun. Keiner war da, der kassiert h\u00e4tte oder irgendeinen Hinweis gegeben h\u00e4tte. Also haben wir das Geld in die offene Kasse gelegt, uns Schl\u00e4ger genommen und los ging&#8217;s, Schl\u00e4ge mit einer Weite von \u00fcber 150 Metern wechselten mit B\u00e4llen, die kaum die 25-Meter-Marke erreicht hatten. Und die L\u00f6cher, die wir in die Luft geschlagen hatten, waren riesig.<br \/>\nNachdem wir uns dann in einem kleinen Restaurant gekr\u00e4ftigt hatten, kam Justus zum Zuge. Ein Fluss sah so richtig einladend zum Fliegenfischen aus, dass er nicht umhin kam. seie Angel auszuwerfen. Leider hatte er heute keinen Erfolg und so sind wir gegen 19:30 in Vernon angekommen. Gut dass wir das Hotel schon am Morgen vorgebucht hatten, so brauchten wir nicht mehr lange zu suchen. Wir haben im Polson Hotel \u00fcbernachtet, ein einfaches Haus im Zentrum.<br \/>\n\t\t<div style=\"clear:both\"><\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"psgal_wrap\">\n\t\t\t<div id=\"psgal_1207_1\"
