Doch schon bald fing es n zu regnen. Also Strand ist nicht besonders empfehlenswert. Unsere Wetter-App zeigte im Norden der Insel zumindest trockenes Wetter, und so sind wir auf der GC-1 nach Las Palmas gefahren.<br \/>\nDer erste Eindruck, viel Industrie, langweilige H\u00e4user, doch wenn man in die Altstadt kommt, muss man seine Meinung \u00e4ndern. Wundersch\u00f6ne alte, herrschaftliche H\u00e4user s\u00e4umen die Stra\u00dfen, verschiedene Museen und Ausstellungen laden zum Anschauen ein.<br \/>\nUnser erstes Ziel in Las Palmas war der Plaza Ana mit der Kathedrale, die Ende des 15. JH begonnen wurde und erst Anfang des 9. JH beendet wurde. Der dreischiffige Hallenbau wurde dann auch anfangs gothisch bis zu Ende dann im Stil des Barocks gebaut. Trotz der Stilevielfalt ein harmonisches Bauwerk.<br \/>\nVom Kirchturm, den man besteigen konnte, hat man einen tollen Blick \u00fcber die Stadt und den Nordteil von GC.<br \/>\nNicht weit davon entfernt sind einige Ausstellungen, Modern Art mit Klanginstallationen, Bilder von Pino Ojeda, im Museum neben der Kathedrale viele religi\u00f6se Werke und vieles mehr, das wir an dem Tag nicht mehr betrachten konnten.<br \/>\nIm Nordwesten von LP ist ein etwa 4km langer Sandstrand mit feinem wei\u00dfen Sand, Playa De Las Canteras. Etwas vorgelagert ist ein Riff, das bei Ebbe aus dem Wasser ragt, und die heftigen Wellen vollst\u00e4ndig vom Strand fernh\u00e4lt.<br \/>\nEs machte sehr viel Spa\u00df, auf der Promenade spazieren zu gehen, auf der einen Seite das aufgew\u00fchlte Meer, auf der anderen Seite viele nette Restaurants und Bistros.<\/p>\n\t\t<div style=\"clear:both\"><\/div>\n\t\t<div
